LEGAL NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be
received at the office of the Huron County Commissioners, 180
Milan Avenue, Norwalk, Ohio 44857 until 11:00 a.m., Thursday,
April 10, 2008, at which time bids will be opened for leasing
approximately 26 + or - acres of tillable land known as the Airport
Farm, west of the Huron County Airport, adjacent to Laylin Road.
Bidding documents including bid form and specifications may be
obtained at the office of the Huron County Commissioners, 180
Milan Avenue, Norwalk Ohio 44857, during regular office hours,
8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.
Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope
clearly marked "Airport Farm" accompanied by a bid guarantee in
the form of a certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit
drawn to the order of the Huron County Commissioners in an amount
of not less than 10% of the total bid amount, or in the form of
a bid bond in a company or surety satisfactory to the Board in
the full amount of the bid.
The Board of Huron County Commissioners and the
Huron County Airport Authority reserve the right to reject any
or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bidding, and to award
the bid on the basis of the highest and best bid as is deemed
to be in the best interests of the County of Huron, Ohio.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Separate sealed bids for FAST DRY PAVEMENT MARKING,
HUR-CR-PM-FY2009, PID 82143, HURON COUNTY, OHIO will be received
by the Huron County Board of Commissioners, County Administration
Building, 180 Milan Avenue, Suite 7, Norwalk, Ohio 44857 until
10:30 AM LOCAL TIME, APRIL 11, 2008, and then at said office publicly
opened and read aloud.
Plans, specifications, estimated construction cost,
and blank proposals shall be obtained at The Office of The Huron
County Engineer, 150 Jefferson Street, Norwalk, Ohio 44857 (Telephone
Number 419-668-1997, Monday thru Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm). The
bidder must obtain the plans, specifications, etc. at their own
expense and the cost is non-refundable. The plans and specifications
may be obtained after March 21, 2008.
A. Each bidder requesting that a set of plans,
specifications, etc. be mailed to the bidder shall pay the additional
shipping and handling charges to The Office of The Huron County
Engineer. Anyone requesting plans and specifications shall furnish
a complete address (including street address) where these documents
are to be mailed. Each bidder must also furnish their phone number
and fax number.
B. The list of those firms or persons obtaining plans, specifications,
estimates and bid documents will be reported at The Office of
The Huron County Engineer.
Each proposal must contain the full name of the
party or parties making the same and all persons interested therein,
and must be accompanied, pursuant to Section 153.54 of the Ohio
Revised Code, by a satisfactory BID GUARANTY AND CONTRACT BOND
or PROPOSAL BOND executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety,
in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total
amount for each individual proposal; or by a certified check or
cashiers check pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code
in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount for
each individual proposal, payable to Huron County Board of Commissioners
as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will
be entered into.
No proposals will be entertained unless submitted
on forms furnished by The Office of The Huron County Engineer.
Each bidder must have the appropriate, current
ODOT prequalification for this type of project, and present their
Certificate of Qualification at the time of the bid opening.
Attention of bidders is particularly called to the
minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract.
The estimated construction cost is: $137,892.00
The Board of County Commissioners of Huron County
reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Huron County Engineer Norwalk, Ohio Sealed proposals
will be accepted from bidders at the Office of the Huron County
Commissioners until 9:30 AM on the reschedule date of Wednesday,
April 2nd, 2008 for the resurfacing of various roads in Huron
County. The project is located throughout Huron County and is
a road resurfacing project. The date set for completion of this
work shall be as set forth in the bidding proposal. Plans and
specifications are on file at the Office of the Huron County Engineer,
150 Jefferson Street, Norwalk, Ohio 44857. This advertisement
will be published Friday, March 14th, 2008. This notice can also

LEGAL NOTICE
Huron County has successfully completed two year
online selling of surplus equipment and supplies. On November
17, 2005, the Board of Huron County Commissioners entered into
an agreement with GovDeals, Inc. to provide online auction services
to the County and has elected to continue the same in year 2008.
Huron County hereby creates the following rules pursuant to the
Ohio Revised Code 307.12: The Huron County Board of Commissioners
has determined that surplus property including motor vehicles
acquired for the use of County offices and departments, and road
machinery, equipment, tools or supplies, which is not needed for
the public use, or is obsolete or unfit for the use it was acquired
is appropriate to be sold by Internet auction, and Resolution
08-004, dated February 7, 2008, the Board of Huron County Commissioners
declared its intent to sell property through the Internet. The
auctions shall be conducted on a continuous basis through accessing
the Huron County surplus property through the Huron County website
located at www.hccommissioners.com double click on the Gov Deals
icon. The surplus items shall be posted for fifteen days including
Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays. The County will also post
a notice of such Internet auction on the County bulletin boards
on a continuous basis. A notice will appear continuously on the
County's website that surplus property is available through the
Internet auction. All property is offered for sale "AS IS, WHERE
IS". County of Huron makes no warranty, guaranty, or representation
of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or
fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. The
Buyer is not entitled to any payment for loss of profit or any
other money damages - special, direct, indirect or consequential,
and the County has the right to reject any and all bids and to
