MIKE ADELMAN, 58,is a long time resident of Huron County and the Village of Monroeville.

Adelman, and his wife, Melodie, have been married for 37 years. They have five children and six grandchildren. The Adelman's are graduates of Monroeville High School and are active members of St. Joseph/St. Alphonsus twined parishes.

Before being elected county commissioner to fill an unexpired term in November 2000 and re-elected to full terms in 2002 and 2006, Adelman had been involved in local government as a councilman for 12 years in Monroeville, and was an elected member of the Huron County Fair Board.

He has also worked in radio management and marketing for over 34 years. He shares his talent as a sports broadcaster at various high schools throughout Huron County.

Working in the best interest of all county residents, the Commissioner paved the way for the Rx Savings Plus discount prescription card that is available at no cost to any individual or family in the county, and offers academic scholarships to county high school graduates.
