The Huron County Engineer’s Office will accept applications beginning August 31, 2020 for the full-time position of Survey Tech 2 through September 14, 2020.
Survey Tech 2 will be responsible for performing topographical, location, and construction surveys using various survey equipment. Will be preparing accurate and detailed filed notes depicting bridges and other highway related features using electronic total station and data collector or by drawing and written format. Rate of pay will be $22.72 after a 180-day probationary period.
Qualifications for the position are completion of Associates Degree in Surveying or related field; four (4) years’ experience in surveying; or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must possess a valid Ohio Driver’s license; must maintain insurability under the Engineer’s insurance policy.
Potential candidates must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
