Public Transit Director/ Huron County Public Transit

Brief Description and Requirements:
Under the direction and guidance of the Huron County Board of Commissioners and County Administrator, shall manage all aspects of Huron County Public Transit (HCPT) in terms of development, administration, daily operations and maintenance. Director is responsible for adopting strategic goals and determining departmental needs.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in public administration, transportation management, urban planning, business, finance or related field; or Equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities; and two (2) years of experience working in a state or federally regulated grant-funded public entity or not-for-profit; and two (2) years of experience with P&L management responsibility; and valid Ohio driver’s license.
